It seems the Hollywood Reporter has the official word that ( See Article ) are officially signed to write and produce installments of the new STAR WARS trilogy. It’s not yet known which episodes they will write, or which they’ll produce, but they’re definitely on board. This comes as huge news for fans that were still not 100 percent sold on future films in the Saga . . .

When it comes down to it, we don't officially know that much about Disney's hush-hush production of "Star Wars: Episode VII", but what we do know it that it will launch a new trilogy next year, with Star Wars: Episode VIII following in 2017 and Star Wars: Episode IX coming in 2019. LucasFilm is also planning an Untitled Star Wars Han Solo Spin-Off and Untitled Star Wars Boba Fett Spin-Off to debut in 2016 and 2018, giving fans one Star Wars movie a year until 2019.
